PRIVATE LESSONS
Call one of our Tennis Professionals for an appointment for a ½ hour
or 1 hour lesson. You must be a member of the club to take private
or semi private lessons.
DRILL GROUPS
One of our Tennis Professionals will drill a group of 3 or 4
members at any level on fundamentals and strategy. The group
will be set up for a specific period of time with participants
prepaid for the entire session.
LEAGUES
Available to our members only, league levels range from 2.5 beginner
to advanced open ratings. Doubles and Singles play for 1½ hours,
new partners each week, scores are tallied and awards will
be presented to first and second place finishers at the end
of the league. New balls are provided to each league. Fixed
partner leagues are also available for those members wanting
to compete as a team.
MEN'S & WOMEN'S GMITA INTERCLUB & SUMMER
STATE LEAGUES
Our teams play against other indoor clubs in the Greater Milwaukee
Area. These teams are formed using NTRP ratings and play matches
weekly. At the end of each session, trophies are awarded to first
and second place teams. Teams play year round; fall, winter,
and summer.
TENNIS 1-2-3
Tennis 1-2-3 is an introductory program for both members and
non-members that have limited or no experience in the sport
of a lifetime. It is broken into 3 consecutive levels that
will assist in all aspects of the game. Contact Mano Kehoss for more information.
TRAVELING TENNIS SHOW
This is a interactive program where we come to your school to
teach students the history of tennis and the evolution of
the tennis racquet. We make this assembly program participatory
for kids who are in kindergarten through 8th grade, including
children with special needs. We play tennis with the students
and offer prizes for the students and teachers. This is a
50 minute assembly with "G" Rated music played.
This program is held in conjunction with the U.S.T.A.
and the Wisconsin Tennis Association. School Principals or
Physical Education Teachers should contact
or call the
Club for more information.
